During the height of the Gold Rush, thousands of ships visited San Francisco. Several hundred ships became stranded in the harbor, abandoned and left to the ocean and the elements. Many of these vessels never sailed again. These ships had names like Arkansas, Autumn, Balance and Brilliant. At least forty of these ships remained in place serving as saloons and hotels, as well as creating the foundation of the Financial District. These ships still rest under streets walked by millions of people from around the world for more than 170 years.
Forty Below Gin uses a proprietary combination of distillery grown and local botanicals to create a bold flavor that holds up beautifully in a gin & tonic or other long drinks.
